Hey everyone,

I'm now in my second year of college... Time flies.

Though I've been studying art all this time, I've usually thought of what I'm doing as work, rather than an extension of a hobby. That is, until a couple of weeks ago when I started getting really involved in a couple of upper-class courses that I didn't even meet the prerequisites for: Advanced Photoshop Techniques and Intermediate Drawing.

Oh, man. They're fun. At first I was in way over my head, but now I absolutely love it.

I've always used photography, drawing, and photoshop as different methods entirely -- they might bleed into each other occasionally, but they were never integral to each other. Now, however, I am beginning to use them all as part of the same machine. It's the most fun I've had with this kind of stuff in a long time.

Look for some new deviations coming soon. I promise they'll be interesting.
